The winner

The winner of the Franco-Prussian War is The Prussia Empire. Due to technological superiority and military discipline, Prussia was superior in warfare. On September 2nd, 1870, French Emperor Napoleon III even surrendered himself in a no longer favorable situation for France. Prussia's military power made the countries in southern Germany agree to join Prussia. Bismarck's attempt to unify the German nation was finally successful by joining all the German states.

January 28, 1971, France surrendered to Germany. Consequently, France ceded the Alsace Lorraine region to Germany, and for his achievements, Bismarck was appointed Chancellor or Prime Minister of the German Empire. Bismarck's successes cannot be separated from his Realism Politic thinking. Realism politics is political thought that is more concerned with interests and practical (power) aspects than moral values to realize their desires and goals.
